Shamir Amir Kansakar brings a diverse range of experience spanning tech startups, intergovernmental agencies, and community-based programs - working across product research, program development, and strategic communications. As a product manager at Veel Inc, he has led cross-functional teams for the global launch, and streamlined outreach, reporting, and stakeholder relationships at RIMES, an intergovernmental organization. His policy research work at Daayitwa Nepal and facilitation of international student programs at Carleton College focused on civic engagement and strategic communication. With dual degrees in Studio Arts and Molecular Biology from Carleton College, Shamir combines problem solving with creative curation.
He is passionate about documenting and promoting Nepal’s arts and cultural heritage and its integrated ways of living as a global asset, using art and intelligent digital tools to drive social impact and systemic change.
